A waste sorting unit consists of main components such as ballistic separators, conveyors, belts, optical sorters, screens, storage silos, rotary sorting tables, sorting cabins, etc.
The performance and durability of the complete facility depend on the quality, reliability and performance of each component.
For many years therefore, we have designed our own "key equipment", based on highly precise rules:
| - design equipment which is above all robust but simple, - used proven, high-quality components, - integrate simplified maintenance in each design, - consider the adaptability and scalability of our equipment right from the definition phase, - optimise its efficiency to minimise energy consumption. |
We also rely on a network of partners to include reliable, proven and efficient equipment in our turnkey facilities: drumfeeder, bag openers, optical sorters, sorting cabins, eddy currents, etc.

Protected by a world patent, rotary sorting tables developed by AKTID are
original, ergonomic equipments providing optimal work conditions into a
confined area. Their flexibilities of working makes them as efficient on sorting of high value-added
monomaterial wastes (paper, plastic, etc...) as on sorting of heterogeneous
mixed wastes (industrial waste, bulky waste, sorting of households
waste, etc...).
Each of the models can be used :
|
- Continually such as a linear belt with a product steady feeding, - Sequentially : Once the rotary table is full, the feeding belt stops during the number of rotary turns required for a good sorting. The products which are staying on the rotary table are evacuated and the rotary table is fed again. |
By this way it's possible to adapt the number of operators according to the quantity of incoming materials and the sorting level of quality.
