We design, manufacture and install for you all types of turnkey waste sorting units and are your unique contact from definition of your specifications up to commissioning of the facility.
The waste treatment market is constantly changing, and every customer has its own specific requests.
We therefore adopt a personalised approach for your project, based on:
| - almost 20 years experience in the management of turnkey waste, sorting unit projects, - a team of experts close to the field, and always highly attentive to your requirements, - customer feedback with over 50 waste sorting units in operation (industrial waste, selective collection waste, packaging, paper, bulky waste, etc.) - development of our own "key equipment", - high reactivity through the development of a European network of service providers, - long-standing partners allowing us to integrate in our facilities the most relevant and most efficient equipment available on the market. |

The Aktid team has played a role in all the improvements of the sorting business in France for more than 20 years, in particular selective collection set up by Eco Emballages
Eco Emballages, a private company created on the initiative of a handful of consumer goods companies, was accredited by the French public authorities in 1992.
Its mission: implement, organise, manage and finance selective collection, sorting and recycling of household packaging waste in France.
At the same time, AKROS, a company directed by André Payerne, diversified its activity as manufacturer of scrap iron processing equipment (baler, scrap shears, etc.) and entered the waste sorting market. The company then industrialised and developed an innovating, flexible and ergonomic rotary sorting table.
In 2005, Pierre André, the son of André Payerne, at the head of the AKROS "sorting centre department" since its creation, launched the company AKTID SAS.
Aktid currently provides solutions to all waste sorting problems in France and Europe and proposes more or less automated selective collection waste facilities including: ballistic separators, automatic sorters on hollow bodies, flat bodies, vacuuming of plastic bags and films, storage of sorted products in automatically managed silos, site management and rationalisation software (production control, preventive maintenance, flow management, data archiving and summary, etc.).
In 2010, Aktid designed and manufactured for Paprec Recyclage the most modern selective collection sorting line in France which includes amongst other things 8 optical sorting machines, 2 AKTID ballistic separators… for an incoming flow rate of
> 15 T/ hour.

Aktid builds sorting facilities for Non-Hazardous Industrial Waste and bulky waste.
These materials are difficult to sort, being highly heterogeneous.
We therefore decided to design equipment which is both highly robust and simple. Thanks to this policy, our first NHIW facilities are still running 15 years later.
To cope with the fast-changing energy requirements, Aktid now design and manufactures facilities capable of recycling the materials and converting solid recovered fuels (SRF).
Lastly, we propose more mechanised, even automated, turnkey solutions with an economic balance even faster that with the so-called "traditional" solutions.
To validate the performance of the solutions proposed, we developed a mobile sorting and screening unit UTCM600L in order to conduct tests directly on customer sites.
(see "ballistic separators" chapter)
We can therefore validate directly with you:
|
- the capacity of your future sorting line, - the separation qualities, - the equipment to be installed upstream and downstream from the AKTID ballistic separator. |

Since 2008, the ambitious objectives defined by the Grenelle de l'Environnement (environment round table) strongly encourages building and public works companies to sort their waste more efficiently, both on their construction sites and/or on totally dedicated facilities.
However, since these materials are heavy, bulky and complex, specific equipment must be developed with high production capacities..
Owing to its experience in the design and manufacture of robust equipment, AKTID is in a position to propose its own turnkey construction and demolition site waste sorting facilities.
Depending on the case, these sorting units may be simple or highly mechanised.
